I know most people don't think of Monday's as happy, but for me they're the starting of a new week.
Monday's are my day to start fresh, it doesn't matter what I did or didn't do the week before I have a chance to start all over again and make progress.

I'd have to agree, I think Monday is the best day to get things started. Especially if you want to start a new project. :)
