Brainstorming the new book

It's time to start brainstorming a new book while the others are with my editor being read for contracts.

I hadn't planned on writing this particular book but my publisher (The Wild Rose Press) put out a call for submissions and I the ideas started flowing.

It will be part of the Scarlet line (Erotic) and called: Real Men Wear Kilts - so yes, my hero will wear a kilt.

So my brainstorming will begin so I can figure out my characters, who they are and what their conflicts are about.

But I thought I'd share some pictures:

Here's my hero:

And just for fun:

Have a great week.

The Fun of being a Writer

Yes, being a writer can be fun.

It is also hard work, sometimes I just want to throw in the towel, but luckily that attitude doesn't last long.

The fun part of being a writer.  Dreaming up a new book.

That's what I've been doing.  I have the opportunity to be part of a series with other authors with my publisher so I've been play with the idea I've submitted.

I haven't gotten far yet, but thought I'd share.

Or course it's an erotic romance and I finally decided my heroine is a vet.  The hero rescues a dog and brings it into her.

So here's some pictures I'm using to brainstorm the book.

And that's it.  Have a great week.

What I'm Up To

Christmas is over with for another year. I spent time last week plotting out a new 3 book series I want to start writing in January, and I plan on doing more this week.

It's hard for me to believe another year has gone by, but it has. I managed to accomplish a lot this year and I'm looking forward to the New Year.
