Welcome to another week of My Sexy Saturday.

The theme this week is: Our Sexy Halloween.

I really didn’t have anything Halloween, so I picked this snippet from More Than One Night.  Jake and Beth have just finished a picnic dinner on the beach and are now cuddling up talking.  I hope you enjoy.

          “Come here.” His hands curved around her shoulders and maneuvered her between his spread legs. “Lean against me.”

          The heat from his chest seeped into her spine when her back came into contact with him. She sighed and let her head rest against his shoulder.

          “This is nice.”

          “Yes, it is.” His arms encircled her, his hands coming to rest over the top of hers where they lay on her stomach.

          “You know, this brings back memories of high school.”

          “Oh?”

          “Yeah.” She watched the wave’s crash to shore then recede. “My senior year, Ricky Foster took me to Baker Beach.”

Something About Sexy - #MySexySaturday

It’s My Sexy Saturday time again. 

Today’s theme: Something About Sexy it can be anything from fun and quirky to dark and serious.

I decided to use this 7 paragraphs from my book More Than One Night.  Enjoy.

     “You are the most stubbornly independent woman I’ve ever met.”

     Her lips tilted up. He wasn’t pushing her away. “I won’t argue with you there. I love you Jake, and I believe you love me. I promise from here on out there will be no secrets between us. My life will be an open book with you.”

     “I’m not sure, Beth.” He shook his head.

     Her heart stopped, the hope she’d been keeping alive died. She let her hands fall from his face. “Then I guess there’s nothing left to say.”

     His hands tightened on her waist when she tried to step away. “Actually there is.” Pulling her close, he placed his forehead against hers. “I want you topromise me that you’ll come to me and talk things out. And I promise to discuss any bills before I pay them. Okay?” Beth nodded.

     “And one more thing.” Beth held her breath. “I love you, will you be my wife?” Her jaw dropped open.

     “I love you so much and only you. What I have is yours. My money, my house, my car, my life and my love. I want to share everything with you and I was waiting for you to realize I wanted to share your life, too, good or bad. Together we can conquer anything.”

I decided to do 7 sentences from a work in progress.  Sabrina and Ryan met at a wedding and things heat up.

     Sabrina wedged her hand between their bodies, her palm cupping his erect cock her fingers tightening around his hard shaft.

     Ryan broke the kiss. “Impatient are we?” There was laughter in his voice.

     “You don't know the half of it.” She swept her hands up his chest and shoved his jacket off, then tugged his shirt from his pants. With a hard jerk, buttons popped and flew across the room.

This week I chose 7 paragraphs from Red Club Temptation.  Caleb and Jessie are at the local cafe having breakfast together and things are starting to heat up.

     “A girl needs to play now and then.”

     “Depends on your definition of play.” Her lashes dropped, and she looked down at their hands.

      Hell. Her words were said in a husky tone, and his cock jumped. But he had to be sure she meant  play in the same terms he did.

     “Jessie, do you want to play with me?”

     She captured her lower lip between her teeth.

     His heart pounded in his chest.

    A coffee pot was set on the table. Caleb barely prevented a groan as Sally put their breakfast on the table.

Conference Time

I’m just back from the Rom Con conference in Denver.  It’s a reader and writer's conference, but mainly for readers.

I had a fantastic time.  I met lots of readers and several new authors to me.

I'm still playing catch up on sleep and trying to sort out everyone I met.  Plus I have lots of new authors to read.

Our Sexy Date - More Than One Night #MySexySaturday

Welcome to the 112th week of My Sexy Saturday.

This week’s theme: Our Sexy Date

A sexy date could be anything: the day they first went out, the day they first kissed, the day they got married. It could be a couple’s sexy anniversary date or maybe a date to met for the very first time. It could be a date in space, a foreign country or just around the corner. Now matter the particulars, just make it sexy, sexy and sexy. We did mention sexy…right?

I decided to use the first date between my hero and heroine from More Than One Night.  Jake and Beth are great couple and of course there is a little doggy named Rosie that plays a part in getting them together.

Here's 7 paragraphs from More Than One Night

     “I’m not most women.”

     “So I’m learning.” Slipping the glass from her fingers, he put it next to his before guiding her back over to the window.

     Once there, he stood behind her, her back against his chest, as he guided her hands to her side.

     She stared at their reflection in the glass, as he slid his fingers up her bare arms, to her shoulders. Her breathing hitched when his rounded nails teased  the column of her neck, moving past her throat to the first button on her blouse.  

     Was he going to make love to her in front of the window? Her heart pounded with excitement and trepidation. His apartment was high enough so she didn’t need to worry about someone seeing them. The white button slipped through the hole, then his fingers moved to the second one and the third until her blouse hung open.

     Unable to help herself, her hands rose, but he caught them. Their gazes locked in the window.

     “Let me take care of you. Let me make this night special.”
