A Sexy Letter by Marie Tuhart #mysexysaturday

It's that time again for My Sexy Saturday.

This week's theme: A Sexy Letter

This week I'm doing from a work in progress, it doesn't have a title yet, as I'm just playing with the idea.  This is seven sentences from a letter to the heroine from the hero.  Enjoy.

I want to caress your skin, to feel those tiny shivers of pleasure running through your body.
Remember how hard my cock was as it slid into your wet pussy. Remember the moans of pleasure that slipped from your lips.  Remember crying out my name as you climaxed.
I remember everything. The need, the want, the passion. So be prepared, you belong to me now.

I hope you've enjoyed this week's My Sexy Saturday.  Don't forget to check out all the other my sexy bloggers this week.

My Sexy Shifter by Marie Tuhart #mysexysaturday

Welcome to another week of My Sexy Saturday

This weeks theme: My Sexy Shifter

For this week I pulled out a work in progress or should I say a work in waiting.  I started this shifter story a while back but then became side tracked by other books that needed to be written.

I hope you enjoy this peak into my story.

“I’ve told you to call me Jake.  Mr. Masters is my father.” The scent of cinnamon hit him.  He almost threw his head back and howled. His wolf wanted out to play.
“That isn’t a good idea.”  She shied away from him to the corner of the elevator.
Jake began to wonder if some man had hurt her, and that was unacceptable.  He wanted to demand answers from her, but it was the wrong tactic to take with Andrea.
“There is no reason for you not to call me Jake, everyone does.”  He captured her hand, and brought it to his lips, kissing it softly before releasing it.  “And I promise to be the perfect gentleman as I drive you home.”  But he wasn’t going to promise to be a gentleman once her got her there.  Her lips begged to be kissed.
“You know I’m perfectly capable of getting myself home.”  She reached for the control panel to press the button for the first floor.
“I’m sure you are.”  He intercepted her.  “But this late at night, it will take a cab a while to arrive.”
“It doesn’t matter.”  Pulling her arm back, she took a deep breath trying to calm not only her racing heart, but her nerves as well.  She forced herself to look at him.  His raven hair was pulled back into a pony tail that did nothing to detract from his masculinity - - his power.  A tremor went through her body.

            “It does to me.”

Our Sexy Love by Marie Tuhart #mysexysaturday

Welcome to another week of My Sexy Saturday.

This week’s theme: Our Sexy Love

I decided to do 7 sentences from a work in progress.  Sabrina and Ryan met at a wedding and things heat up.

Sabrina wedged her hand between their bodies, her palm cupping his erect cock her fingers tightening around his hard shaft.
Ryan broke the kiss. “Impatient are we?” There was laughter in his voice.

“You don't know the half of it.” She swept her hands up his chest and shoved his jacket off, then tugged his shirt from his pants. With a hard jerk, buttons popped and flew across the room.

I hope you've enjoyed this weeks entry.

Snippet from Work in Progress

I thought I'd try something different and give you a snippet from my current work in progress.

His kiss would be the death of her.
"Oh, darling," his breath, hot and moist against her ear.
"Yes, honey." She rubbed her body against his. She was giving the performance of her life. Her hands tightened on his broad shoulders, his soft hair just brushing her skin.  She nibbled at his ear.
            "Bedroom?" His voice was tight.
Reaching down, she slipped her fingers between his hard stomach and jeans, then pulled him by his belt buckle.  She kept the barest of distance between their bodies while walking backwards.  The bedroom lay at the end of the hallway.
Once inside, their legs tangled and they fell upon the blue satin quilt.  His hard erection pressing into her softness.  The bed quivered.
"Oh, baby."  His fingers began unbuttoning her blouse.
A crack and a snap filled the air, then there was air between her and the mattress.  She didn't even have time to let out a scream as the bed collapsed beneath them.

How is that for the beginning?  Can you guess what happens next?
Have a great week.

When Characters Take Over

I've been hard at work in this last week working on my new Work In Progress (WIP).  It was slow starting and I couldn't figure out what to do.  I had a goal of how many pages I wanted to get written because this book needs to be done in a certain amount of time.

Finally about Wednesday the words started flowing and I was moving along at a good pace, making my word count every day.  On Saturday I realized why I was moving so quickly, my male characters had taken over the story.

Yes, male characters.  I'm trying my hand at writing a committed menage story.  I love the characters and the story itself.  But this week, my hero's took over.  I just let them tell me what they want me to write and I write it.

I know it sounds strange, but I've found over the years that I do my best writing this way.  When my characters really begin to talk to me and take over, then the words flow and I learn all sorts of interesting details in their lives that I didn't know.

I'll see over the next week how this all plays out, but so far, I'm pushing my own boundaries as a writer and loving every minute of it.

I'm sure you have a favorite character, from a book, a movie or a TV show. Let me know who or what it is?

Cowboy Spanking

Did that get your attention?

I’ve started my new WIP and I’m having a little trouble so I figured I’d come to my blog readers for help.

This is the first committed ménage book I’ve written, while I’ve written menage’s before this is the first one where all three will be a committed threesome.

My two hero’s who of course are both dominate, Ry is my Sheriff and Jed is my Rancher/Cowboy. Now these two play off each other really well, but what I discovered in talking to my characters. Yes, I talk to them but that’s a different story. Jed likes to be spanked, he gets off on it.

Would it turn you off as a reader to have one of the hero’s like to be spanked, and want to be spanked by the heroine?

I’m walking a fine line here and I want everyone’s opinion on how they would feel about this. I want to know if you’d read it or not.

I’m looking forward to your answers on my new WIP.

Time Off From The Day Job

I took some vacation time from the day job which is always nice. That means I have more time to work on my writing.

There are days and weeks its very hard to work a full-time job, deal with family, do all the things that need to be done and write, so I savor the time when I can take write.

I may also take a day or two for myself, to play and enjoy life.

Where does the time go

I'm usually very good at managing my time, but lately it seems like it's getting more and more unmanageable.

I've lost track of self-imposed deadlines, material I'm should be sending out to conferences, contest entries, housework, etc.

It's been a struggle to get back on track, this week I managed some success, I wrote all week but one day, and I finished up the last of the edits on the work in progress, and it now sits in the hands of my critique partners. I still have to write the synopsis and query this week. I've been keeping up with the household bills, emails, blogs and even managed to chop down the knee high weeds in the back yard.

This week I'm determined to get back on schedule. I'll finish judging the contest entries I have and send them back, start work on the the other work in progress so I can get it ready to submit, exercise and keep up with everything else. But in order to do this I have to managed my time very carefully.

That means I can't play when I get home from the day job, it means getting everything done before I play any computer games, it means I have to be strict with myself and do what I need to do, not what I want to do.

I can do it, I've done it before.

What can you do this week? What have you been putting off that really needs to be done?
