This week I did 7 paragraphs.  This is from More Than One Night and the closest I get to Chic Lit.  Beth is out for a night with her girlfriends when the hero walks in and make Beth's world spin out of control.

            “Hey, Beth.” Karen waved her hand, with perfectly manicured nails, in front of her face.  

            “Yeah.” She faced her friends who were all staring at her. “What?”

            The three women laughed.

            “Come on, Beth,” said Carla, Beth’s best friend and co-worker. “You were gazing at the man as if he were an ice cream cone in the middle of a heat wave.”

            Beth bit her lower lip, knowing her cheeks turned pink. “Hey, I’m a grown woman, aren’t I?” But she couldn’t explain to herself why she was tempted to forget her rules and get to know this man better.

            Was she lonely? No, she dismissed the thought of loneliness from her mind. A date wasn’t a cure for what ailed her, not that she knew what ailed her, except this restless feeling nagging her and her heart being empty.

            “It’s about time you unlocked the panty drawer,” said Theresa, slapping her palm on the table.

            “Those are for after breakfast.” He angled his chair close to his. “Valentine’s Day is a couple of weeks away, but I saw those and thought we might have fun with them.”

            “Yes, we’ll try several of them out starting with this one." He dropped a heart in her hand that said: Eat Me.

I hope everyone is enjoying My Sexy Saturday, I know I'm having fun finding things to post.

This week's theme is: My Sexy Galaxy.

What I decided to do is 7 paragraphs from a paranormal erotic romance I started to write a while back.  I hope you enjoy.

Just to give you some back ground, the hero's Trent and Ryder (this is a menage book MFM) have come to earth looking for a special crystal that was taken from their planet.  Alyssa is my heroine, she is an artist.  They are all at the gallery where Alyssa's best friend works.  Trent and Ryder have just walked into the gallery and saw Alyssa.

             Trent?  Ryder used his mind link to speak with his brother. 

            I see it too.

            How is this possible?  Ryder was trying to cope with the sensory overload.  Sight and smell all hit his senses and went straight to his cock.  The way her brown hair framed her oval face, the blueness of her eyes, the colors swirling around her entire body.  He could smell the perfume of the alyssum flower of their home world.  How was this possible?  She was an earthling.

            Possible or not, said Trent, She is our bonding mate.

            Ryder’s cock pulsed at his brother’s words.  Bonding mate.  How long to the portal?

I decided to use this 7 paragraphs from my book More Than One Night.  Enjoy.

     “You are the most stubbornly independent woman I’ve ever met.”

     Her lips tilted up. He wasn’t pushing her away. “I won’t argue with you there. I love you Jake, and I believe you love me. I promise from here on out there will be no secrets between us. My life will be an open book with you.”

     “I’m not sure, Beth.” He shook his head.

     Her heart stopped, the hope she’d been keeping alive died. She let her hands fall from his face. “Then I guess there’s nothing left to say.”

     His hands tightened on her waist when she tried to step away. “Actually there is.” Pulling her close, he placed his forehead against hers. “I want you topromise me that you’ll come to me and talk things out. And I promise to discuss any bills before I pay them. Okay?” Beth nodded.

     “And one more thing.” Beth held her breath. “I love you, will you be my wife?” Her jaw dropped open.

     “I love you so much and only you. What I have is yours. My money, my house, my car, my life and my love. I want to share everything with you and I was waiting for you to realize I wanted to share your life, too, good or bad. Together we can conquer anything.”

This is a scene from my first book In Plain Sight – this is right after Joe and Vicki have their first encounter in the elevator.  Joe has a reputation for being a bad boy, but he’s really not that bad.  Or is he?

  

        Vicki did that to him. Made him hot and hard.

She’d done it from the first time he’d seen her on the

seventeenth floor, blond hair tight against her head,

only a little make up, and the loose, drab suit, all

intended to disguise her sexuality.

        He wasn't fazed by it. He looked beneath the

This one wasn't easy for me.  In More Than One Night, Beth is out with her girl friends and her girl friends are trying to get her to loosen up and have a wild fling for one night.  This is right after the hero walks into the bar and her friends are all hot and bothered. Here's 7 paragraphs.

     Time to remember Beth’s Rules for Dating. One: No thinking about men. Two: No thinking about men. Three through ten: No thinking about men.

     Although this man did tempt her to do more than think, he tempted her to stare and touch.

     “I do believe the temperature in here went up,” said Karen.

     “If I wasn’t engaged, I’d love to get a piece of that man,” commented Carla.

      “Well, I’m not engaged or otherwise,” said Theresa.

       Mine. The word popped into Beth’s head, but thankfully she kept from saying it out loud. Her gaze stayed on the hunk. What was it about him? Other men were as handsome, but it was something more. Something raw, elemental, that called to the woman in her.

       A waitress sashayed up to his table, flirted with him while taking his order. But his features never changed, it was as if he didn’t notice her flirting. The waitress flounced away.

My Sexy Saturday - Talk Sexy to Me

This is the 108th week of My Sexy Saturday.

I had a hard time picking for this week. I chose 7 paragraphs this week.  Just to give you the readers some background.  Caleb and Jessie have know each other since high school.  Jessie runs the only BDSM club in the Maine town of Lobster Cove.  Caleb has returned to Lobster Cove to work for Jessie in the capacity of a dungeon monitor.  He visited the club before his job interview and the two of them had an encounter.  She didn't know who he was at their first encounter at the club.  Now he's working there and he sees his chance to make his move and have her know who he is.

     “Looking for me?” he whispered in her ear at the same time his hands came to her shoulders. She jumped but didn’t pull away.  “Look at the scene,” he ordered as she began to turn her head to look at him. He wanted her attention on the scene where the Domme was flogging her sub, and to keep the mystery for a little while longer.

     “You came back.” Her voice was soft.

      “Yes.” He let his nails trace the column of her neck and was rewarded when she shivered. “We didn’t get to finish the other night. Are you available?”

     “I am.” She stretched her neck. “Just not now. Later, after the crowd is gone.”

      “Are you sure about this?”

       She nodded.

       “Then look at me.” He turned her around. Her breasts strained against the dark red corset when she took a deep breath and tilted her head back.

        “Let’s get something straight, Mr. Bradshaw.”

She whirled around and faced him.

        He could see the fire in her eyes and couldn’t

wait to see them burning with passion again.

        “I will not repeat what happened Friday night,”

she declared, poking him in the chest with her

finger.

        He placed a hand over his heart and stepped

back. “You wound me, fair lady.” He wiggled his

eyebrows at her.

        “Oh, cut the bullshit.” Hands on hips, she glared

at him, looking a bit like a Norse goddess of war.

        “There is no bullshit here.” He spread his arms

wide, allowing the grin he’d been fighting to spread

across his lips. There was his Vicki. The fiery, sexy

woman he wanted to fuck day and night. “I told you

Saturday you were going to set the pace.”

        “Don’t give me that sexy, devilish grin of yours. I

won’t—”

For this week I decided to do 7 sentences.  This is from my very first published book In Plain Sight.  Joe and Victoria have been dancing around their attraction to each other for over a year, when they get stuck in an elevator, passion takes over.  This snippet is the next day when Joe goes to visit Victoria.

            “You’re too dangerous.”  The words slipped out before she was even aware of voicing them aloud.

            His eyes widened, and another of those sexy, devilish grins spread across his face.  “I’m not dangerous. I’m a teddy bear.”

            Victoria gave a snort of laughter. He took another step toward her, and now her bedroom felt too small.

       "We went back to your dorm room because your roommate had left and they hadn't assigned you a new roomie yet." Her fingers traced circles on his stomach. "We held each other for hours, just laying there talking and kissing." She'd been content to be in his arms then, just as she was now.

       "Ah yes, I remember that." His fingers cupped her chin and tilted her head up. "One of my favorite memories." His lips caressed hers.

       "Mine too."
