New Release: Risky Proposal by Marie Tuhart

I'm so thrilled today to have a new release available.

Risky Proposal was a call from The Wild Rose Press based on a small town in Vermont and the Deerbourne Inn.  You don't have to read the other books in the series, but I encourage you to. This is a standalone book and I had a lot of fun writing the book. Plus if you read Red Club Temptation Jessie and Caleb make an appearance.

Blurb:

IT specialist Claire Holmes begins her stay at Deerbourne Inn to rejuvenate after her sister's tragic death. In a week, she'll start her dream job and embark on a whole new journey. But a leaky pipe leads to an unexpected reunion with the sexy plumber she had a blind date with a year ago. His dominant air calls to her slumbering submissive side. Vowing to be bold, she invites him to lunch...in hopes of maybe a little more.

Dominant Josh Hawkins has it all—a successful hardware store and the beginnings of a new BDSM club. He doesn't realize he's missing someone to share it with until Claire bursts into his world and shows him that her submissive tendencies are just what he needs in his life, even if for only a week. His risky proposal to explore the spark between them could ignite an inferno that neither can quench…

Except:

The door opened, and Josh almost took a step back. He blinked. The woman standing there made his libido stand up and take notice. Her brown hair spread over her shoulders, and her blue eyes were slumberous, her T-shirt rumpled.

“Hi.” She blinked a couple of times.

“This is Josh; he’s going to take a look at the sink,” Liz said.

“Oh good.” She stared at him. “I know you from somewhere.” Her voice was husky. She had the look of a woman who’d been woken up. There was something familiar about her as well.

“If you’ll excuse me, I have to go check on my kids,” Liz said. “Josh, you okay?”

“Yep, got it. Go take care of your rug rats. I know where the shut-off valve is.” Josh stepped into the bathroom. He fiddled with the faucet, then stepped out.

Ms. I-know-you-from-somewhere stood by the dresser. Damn, she was a fine woman. Those jeans molded to her hips, and her T-shirt cupped her breasts. A woman who had meat on her body. His hands itched to touch her. Hold it, buddy. You’re here to work.

He cleared his throat. “I need to run and get supplies to fix it. It will take me about twenty
minutes.”

“Okay. I’m not going anywhere.” She grinned at him, her blue eyes sparkling.

His dick swelled, taking him by surprise. He couldn’t recall a time when a single glance from a sexy woman had sent hot flares of lust straight to his pants. She claimed he looked familiar, maybe after he fixed the sink, he’d check her out.

New Release from Marie Tuhart - Tempt

It's been a while since I've posted a new release - not that I haven't had some, I've just been so busy with writing I forgot.

I'm super excited about my new release, it kicks off a new series for me.

Wicked Sanctuary...surrender your inhibitions

Blurb:

Escaping her ex-boyfriend’s horror-themed campout, Sierra Blake stumbles into a world she never imagined. Curious and spirited, but with a history of picking the wrong man, she must learn to trust her instincts and find her inner strength to become the woman she is meant to be.

Max Preston has shut himself off from women, until Sierra crashes into his life. An intense attraction ignites inside him, and he’s determined to make her his.

Discovering a new confidence under Max’s protection, Sierra finds herself falling for him. But when his too-perfect ex-wife triggers old insecurities, she runs--smack into her own past. Can she rise above old scars and fight for true love?

Excerpt:

“What the...?”

Sierra fought the urge to take a step back at the rough male voice. Blinking the rain out of her eyes, she stared at the bare male chest. Her heart pounded as she allowed her gaze to travel up the sculpted pecs, to unsmiling lips, stormy hazel eyes, straight, medium length black hair and a pair of red devil horns on his head. The man was tall, over six feet.

She swallowed. “Sorry to bother you. If I could borrow your phone, I need to call someone to pick me up.”

The man made a noise in the back of his throat. “Ralph,” he said over his shoulder, “towels please, and lots of them.”

His husky voice sent a shiver down her spine. Must be the rain. He was staring down at her.
“Get in here before you catch a cold.”

“But the floors…” She was dripping water from everywhere.

He reached out and took her by the elbow before pulling her into the foyer and slamming the door shut behind them. “Floors can be cleaned. You’re shivering.” He glanced down at her. “May I?” He gestured to her feet.

She nodded without thinking. He was right; she was soaked and cold. Her gaze shifted as he knelt down and unlaced her boots.

He was wearing dark, well-worn, loose pants and a pair of soft black shoes. Okay, maybe he was afraid she’d stomp on his toes.

“I’m sorry to disturb your party.” She ignored the zing of arousal shooting down her spine as his fingers curved around her ankle after removing her boots.
“Party?”

“The horns.” She waved toward his head.

He grinned, and her breath caught in her throat.

“Ah, yes. Saints and Sinners party.”

Guest Post - Diane Burton - New Release - Numbers Never Lie

Today I have Diane Burton talking about Brothers & Sister plus her new book Numbers Never Lie

Plus click on the word (rafflecopter) below for a chance to win a gift card

Brothers and Sisters

What’s so special about the relationship between a brother and sister? From experience—my own, and observing my daughter and granddaughter—when the girl is older, she tends to be bossy and wants to “mother” the little brother. I’m sure my younger granddaughter (big sister to twins) will try to boss them around, too, when they’re old enough to understand.

But, when the boy is older, it’s a whole different ballgame. At first, he’s protective. But when he gets older and wants to play with his friends, she’s a pain in the rear. Either Mom says he has to watch her or little sister wants to tag along.

That was the situation with Jack and Maggie Sinclair. When Drew Campbell moved into the neighborhood, the eight-year-old boys became fast friends. Five-year-old Maggie wanted to do everything they did. What a pain for Jack. Even when he said no, she would tear after them. If he complained, Dad grounded him he for not protecting her and letting her get into trouble. Then, Dad chewed out Maggie and told her she had to act like a lady. Jack learned not to tattle, and Maggie still tried to do everything he and Drew did.

Until it came to baseball. Maggie could outthrow, outrun, and outbat every boy in the neighborhood. That’s when she became important and Jack let her be on his team.

When the threesome became teens, things changed. Maggie had the biggest crush on Drew. Unbeknownst to her, Jack went into protective mode. He warned Drew not to mess with his sister. At the time, Drew valued his friendship more than his hormones.

Now adults, their parents deceased, Jack has to take care of Maggie, even when she doesn’t need his help. She’s an independent woman. When Jack, an accountant, discovers a problem with an audit, he has to trust someone with the info. Who does he trust? His sister and his best friend. But when he couldn’t get hold of Drew, he left the evidence with Maggie. Since it was a just-in-case scenario, he never thought she would use it.

NUMBERS NEVER LIE
A Romantic Suspense
By Diane Burton
Length: approx. 80,000 words

Free with Kindle Unlimited

Blurb:

A shocking secret brings danger to Jack Sinclair and his sister Maggie.

As kids, they were the fearless threesome. As adults, Jack's an accountant; Drew, a lawyer; Maggie, a teacher and camping troop leader. Upon returning from a weekend camping trip, Maggie receives horrifying news. She refuses to believe her brother Jack’s fatal car crash was an accident. If the police won’t investigate, she’ll do it herself. Convincing Drew Campbell to help is her only recourse.

Drew Campbell was too busy to return his best friend’s phone call. Too busy to attend a camping meeting important to his teen daughter. Too busy to stay in touch with Jack. Logic and reason indicate Jack’s accident was just that--an accident caused by fatigue and fog. Prodded by guilt, he’ll help Maggie even if he thinks she’s wrong.

A break-in at Jack’s condo convinces Maggie she’s right. Then her home is searched. What did Jack do that puts Maggie in danger?

Excerpt:

Slinging the laptop case/briefcase over his shoulder, Jack checked the room assigned to him for the audit to make sure he hadn’t left anything out. He shut off the lights and locked the door behind him. He still had much to do. Sure, Ben said he would finish the audit. That wasn’t the way Jack worked. When he started something, he always finished.
“Working kinda late, arncha, Mr. Sinclair?”
Startled, Jack looked over his shoulder.
The janitor leaned on his mop. “It’s after midnight.”
“No rest for the weary, Max.” Jack pocketed his keys.
“You be careful going home, Mr. Sinclair. Fog was rollin’ in off the lake when me and the missus drove in to work.”
“Thanks for the heads-up.” Jack saluted the affable worker and headed down the hall. The doors to the other offices were closed. Only the cleaning crew remained.
Hazel, Max’s wife, stopped dusting the receptionist’s desk. “’Night, Mr. Sinclair. You best be careful. Noticed you parked all the way down at the end of the parking lot. The light there is out. Saw that when we came in. The company that takes care of our lights won’t come out ‘til Monday. You want Max to get a flashlight and walk out with you so’s you can find your car? What with the fog and all?”
Jack forced himself to smile. In the five days he’d been auditing the books at the plant near Muskegon, he often worked so late that he ran into the older couple. “I’ll be fine.”
“’Night, then. You be careful, now. Ya hear?”
Even before he pushed open the heavy glass door, he saw that Max and Hazel were right. The solitary light at this end of the parking lot barely penetrated the fog. Maybe he should have taken Hazel up on the offer of a flashlight. He wasn’t worried about finding the Blazer in this pea soup. It would be a wonder he didn’t trip on the curbs.
The flashlight on his cell phone. Duh. He should’ve thought of that. Jack clicked it on, but it only shone a foot or so in front of him.
He heard a soft skitter near the dumpster. Rats? He shuddered and clicked his remote. From fifteen feet away, his head- and taillights barely penetrated the mist.
It would be a slow drive back to Grand Rapids. He should get a motel room for the night. Finding a vacancy anywhere along the Lake Michigan shoreline would be next to impossible in the summer and even more so late on a Friday night.
Weary beyond belief, he dragged himself to his car. He needed to return tomorrow—make that later today. He had to do more digging in the company’s files. He couldn’t believe what he’d discovered so far. This went way beyond anything he imagined. The implications—
“Jack.”
Startled by the familiar voice, he dropped the keys. His phone slipped out of his fingers and skidded away. The fog gobbled up the light, and he lost sight of it. He peered in the direction of the sound. The figure stepped away from the dumpster’s hulking shape.
“We need to talk.”

New Release: Claimed by the Sheikh by Marie Tuhart

I'm happy to announce my new release:

Blurb:

Translator Sara Delaney is on her way to Russia when her plane is diverted to London. After a disappointing love affair with a sexy and powerful man she’s looking forward to some downtime.  She’s pleasantly surprised when a driver delivers her to a penthouse room in a luxury hotel. Aching with sorrow over the way the man she enjoyed in so many ways disappointed her by not being the take-charge dominant male she needed in the bedroom, she collapses on the sumptuous bed only to wake to find him in her suite.

Sheikh Kasim Harram, leader of a small middle-eastern kingdom, is not used to a woman thwarting his advances. He’d expected the love affair with Sara, the woman of his dreams, to blossom, but she said a final farewell in Hong Kong. He doesn’t know why. After all, he always treated her with the utmost respect, withholding his more wild appetites. When her plane makes an unscheduled layover in London, where he happens to be on business, it seems the fates have conspired to give him another chance at seduction. With nothing more to lose perhaps the time has come to show her his real nature, but will it backfire causing him to lose her forever?

When does a layover in Heathrow airport turn into a weekend of pleasure...and maybe forever? When you're claimed by the sheikh.

Excerpt:

"Hello, little one."
Son of a turkey biscuit. "Kasim?" She fumbled for the lamp. The light snapped on, and she blinked. No imagination here. "You scared the crap out of me." Her heart pounded in her chest, now not from fear but from apprehension. How the hell did he get here? Last time she heard he’d gone back home. The more important question was why would he be here? She ignored the way her heart pounded and her clit pulsed at the sight of him. They were done.
"Yes, it is I." He leaned forward in the chair near the bed. His dark hair was tousled, but he still had that calm, cool, collected aura about him. The perfect gentleman.
"Why are you here?" She scrambled to think, sleep still clogging her brain.

"To see you, of course." His deep, husky voice sent shivers of awareness through her veins.

An excerpt from The Eloquent Jock...by Cassandra Carr
Brendan’s mouth dropped open. “Want…me?”
“Why is that so hard to believe?” I am so screwed, and not in a good way. A headache began to take hold and he moved his hand to massage harder.
“Look at you,” Brendan waved a hand in Scott’s general direction. “You’re gorgeous, you’re successful, you’re sophisticated. I’m just some confused shmuck who’s never even kissed a guy.”
“Never?” I should not care about this. I need to stop. No good can come of this.
Brendan’s face bloomed red. “No. I’m not the type to walk into some gay bar and pick up a guy. Just the thought of it kinda makes me want to puke.”
“Not everyone is interested in that lifestyle.”
“Are you?” Brendan shook his head. “I’m sorry. I don’t have the right to ask you that. I know I’m making an ass of myself right now, I just don’t know what to do.”
“About what?” Scott dug himself deeper with every word, but he couldn’t stop.
Brendan clenched his fists on the desk, tapping his knuckles. Meanwhile, his right leg bounced and the poor kid looked as if he would self-combust from the red suffusing his face.
After a moment of charged silence, Brendan said, “So, you want me, but can’t have me.”
“Right.”
“Well, you’re the first guy I’ve ever wanted. I’ve known about my sexuality for a while now, but this is the first time I’ve met somebody who actually interested me beyond a casual attraction. And this sucks. I’m distracted; I can’t do my schoolwork; I’m making mistakes on the ice. I can’t have this.”
Scott leaned against the window and asked, “Then what do you want to do?”
Brendan licked his lips and Scott’s treacherous gaze followed the movement. “This.” Before Scott could even react, Brendan had grabbed him and kissed him, sloppily pushing his tongue into Scott’s mouth even as Scott tried to force his muddled brain to catch up with the program. He moaned as Brendan’s strong arms came around his waist, pulling their groins together. For a guy with no experience, the man revved Scott up pretty fucking fast. His dick pushed against Brendan’s sizable erection. Brendan moaned and the back of Scott’s head bounced off the glass behind him as Brendan attacked his mouth with even more vigor.
The pain radiating through his skull brought Scott out of his trance. He shoved Brendan away—shit, the guy had some strength for a man his size—and retreated to the corner of the office. Brendan stood between him and the door or he would’ve bolted that way.
“We can’t do this,” he managed to gasp out. His body had a very different opinion, but Scott ignored his baser needs. Someone had to take charge and stop this madness.
“You said you wanted me.”
Scott blew out a loud breath through his nose. “That doesn’t mean we should do anything about it. In fact, it would be a lot safer for both of us if we didn’t.”
“Because you’re a professor?”
“Well yes, that. And I’m, what, fifteen years older than you?”
“You’re saying I’m just some dumb kid who doesn’t know any better?” Brendan began to turn away, but then spun back. “You responded to me. That might’ve been my first kiss, but I know what happened. You liked it.”
Putting up a hand in a placating gesture, Scott said, “I’m not denying anything, but enjoying a kiss and letting it go on are two different things.”
“I get it.” Scott tried to go on, but Brendan stopped him. “No, I do. I get it. I’m sorry.” Before Scott could stop him, he’d grabbed his bag off the chair he’d dumped it onto earlier, yanked open the door, and slipped through it. As he slammed the door behind him, Scott slumped to the floor.
“That went well, you jackass,” he muttered.

An excerpt from Switching Leads…by Mia Downing
John nodded slowly. “I never realized how you felt about me or my riding. I never believed…” He took a deep breath. “You told me you loved me, and then I found you in bed with Dean, and then the job…” He shrugged and looked away. “I never believed how you felt about me then. And I’ve been pissed for ten years.”
Finn swallowed, his heart hammering. “Now do you believe I felt that way?” He wasn’t going to ask if John believed he loved him still. Baby steps.
John’s gaze flickered from Finn’s eyes to mouth and back up again in a slow perusal that seared Finn’s skin. “Yeah,” he said hoarsely and leaned across the stool between them. His lips brushed Finn’s surprised ones in a gentle kiss.
He’d dreamed about this for so long—John’s acceptance of his apology—but never had it ended like this, with those firm lips sliding across his as if coaxing belief from the inside.
John withdrew and slid from his stool. He spun Finn’s seat a little and eased between Finn’s thighs, the beginning of an erection pressing against Finn’s zipper. Finn’s cock throbbed at the contact, his belly contracting with anticipation.
“I’m sorry,” John whispered, his pupils dilated, eyes hooded as he stared down into Finn’s eyes. His chest rose and fell rapidly against Finn’s.
“For what?”
“For being unprofessional. I’ve never kissed a co-worker before.” John bent and brushed Finn’s mouth in another kiss, this one a little longer with a touch of heat. Finn didn’t dare open his mouth and beg for tongue. In the past, Finn had ruled their sex life, had directed the kisses. The fact that John had switched leads on him was as heady as a bottle of good Bourbon.
“I promise I won’t tell,” Finn murmured when John lifted his lips.
John cupped the back of Finn’s head with his palm. “Good.”

Guest Post: Tricia Schneider

I'm please to have Tricia Schneider on my blog today talking about herself and her newest release The Witche's Thief.

Tell us a little about yourself.

I worked as an Assistant Manager at my local Waldenbooks before the store closed in 2010. It was the best job in the world for a book lover! I was so sad when we had to say good-bye. Now, I write full-time while raising my 3 young children. They keep me incredibly busy! But, I get in some time to write in the mornings and at night when they’re in bed. If I manage any more free time, I like to read, cross-stitch or other craft projects and watch some TV. My husband got me hooked on The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones

What do you like the most and the least about writing?

My favorite thing about writing is when I get so pulled into the story it seems to take possession of my fingers as I type. It’s like the story is writing itself. I’ve heard this called the ‘zone’ by other writers. Whatever it is, it’s a wonderful feeling of becoming one with the story in my head and seeing it come to life on paper (screen).

My least favorite thing about writing is the length of time it takes to complete a project. I like to see a finished product! Sometimes I get very impatient. Before I had kids, I could write for hours and hours with no distractions and write a book in a week or two. Now, I can only squeeze in small amounts of time for writing and I realize that I’ve become a very slow writer.

Give us a peek into your latest published work?

To save her sister’s life, Julia Grey seeks a spell hidden somewhere within Merriweather Manor. Her position as a lady's companion affords her the freedom to search the house. But time is running out. The necromancer she's bargained with is growing impatient. And an unexpected appearance of a man from her past makes matters worse in an already complicated situation.

Basil Merriweather returns to England after ten years abroad to discover his childhood sweetheart living in his home. But, he's no longer the carefree man of his youth and she's hiding something--deadly secrets Basil vows to uncover even as he hides a dark secret of his own.

While neither Basil nor Julia will trust in the other, their hearts speak a truer language.  In a grand attempt to save Julia's sister and Basil's life, the two must finally confess sinister truths. Will their admissions help or hinder any future they may have together? Or will the necromancer destroy all in a vile attempt at revenge.

What’s next on the writing horizon for you?

I’m currently working on books 4 and 5 in The Merriweather Witches series. These books are about Basil Merriweather’s siblings. The first two siblings, Lillian and Melora, were featured in The Witch and the Wolf and The Witch and the Vampire, my previous releases. I plan to have 7 books in the series when it’s complete.

Is there anything you want to tell readers?
The Witch’s Thief is currently available in digital format exclusively at Amazon Kindle and will be FREE from December 17-21. I hope you get a chance to grab a copy!

Excerpt of The Witch's Thief:

"What are you doing?"

He ignored her frantic questioning. Instead, he blocked out the sound of her voice and raised his arms into the air at his sides, his fingers splayed out as he extended his senses to scan the area. His power eased out, like extensions of his fingertips, stretching into the corners of the room, seeking, searching for the source of the magic he sensed.

It was here...somewhere.

He had sensed it earlier on his arrival, but being that his aunt and siblings practiced magic on a regular basis he'd never given it a second thought.

This room, however, stank with it. He smelled the odor, something strangely like sulfur...

"A spell has been cast in this room," he muttered. A strange spell. Odd. A spell he'd never sensed before, something new. It felt off is some way he couldn't explain. Who would be working new magic of this kind in his home? And, in this room in particular. Aunt Petunia worked her spells in the privacy of her rooms upstairs, or sometimes in the gardens, but never in this room. And his siblings each, practiced in their own private settings, places where they could concentrate without the threat of being disturbed. A fairly difficult task with the number of people normally in residence at Merriweather Manor.

He took a step closer to the center of the room where he sensed a surge of power. He shivered as coldness seeped into his skin. It wrapped around his arm, sinking into his flesh, right down to the bone. This was not right.

Thanks for being  here today, Tricia.

Excerpt:

The song wound down, but when it ended she didn’t move out of his arms. The music started once  again, and as they turned, he spied her friends  watching them with rapt attention.
“You’re a very beautiful woman.” Where was  this corny stuff coming from?
            “Thank you. You’re beautiful yourself.”
“Men aren’t beautiful. We’re rugged,  handsome, charming, powerful—”
She started laughing. “Are you flirting with me,  Jake?”
“Yes, is that okay?” Now he was into the dorky  stage, asking permission, but that’s how he was taught to treat a lady.
“Absolutely, flirt away.” She laid her head on  his shoulder once again. He was aware of her body  against his, with each sway of their hips their groins  brushed. His erection was apparent, but she wasn’t  pulling away. He took it as a sign she wanted to be  with him.
Her breath was warm and moist against his  neck. He moved his hand up her back and tunneled  beneath her hair, holding her head in place as his  lips nudged her hair away from her ear.
“I know what I want from you, but do you  know what you want from me?” she asked.
“I want to kiss you,” he said, because he  couldn’t have stopped the words from emerging if  God himself had clamped his lips shut. “All over. All night long.”

New Book Release

Today, I have a new book release with two other talented authors Emma Lai and Sandra Sookoo

Hooked Up At The Wedding

Unexpected Gift by Marie Tuhart
Most men can't handle Sabrina Orin’s job as a doctor since the hours can be 24/7, but she still has needs. What better way to satisfy them than to hook up with a hot guest at a wedding?

Ryan Caine never expected to find a woman at the wedding he’d want to hook up with, and when Sabrina agrees to go to his room with him, he finds he doesn't want to let her go, but she's gone when he wakes in the morning. What’s a man to do?

Unexpected Surprise by Marie Tuhart
Eric Montgomery has had the hots for his best friend’s fiancee’s maid of honor for months. When he finds her in his hotel room and his bed, he thinks the gods are granting him a gift.

Close proximity to the sexy best man has left Marina Landers desperate for release, and when Eric appears in her hotel bedroom, she seizes the opportunity to find out if the rumors about his domineering ways are true.

They have a wild night of kinky sex, both thinking when morning arrives, they'll go their separate ways, but things don't go quite as planned.

Rachel Leigh Visiting

Today fellow Wild Rose Press author Rachel Leigh is visiting telling us about her new release and a bit about her life.

Welcome Rachel.

Tell us a little about yourself:

I live in the UK with my husband of thirteen years and two daughters, 12 and 10. My first venture into erotica was writing short stories for a national UK magazine and then I decided I wanted to write longer stories and an online friend introduced me to erotic romance novellas. I've never looked back!

What do like the most and the least about writing?

Least - Plotting! It always takes longer than I like to get a book set in my mind, when all I want is to get on with the writing. I am a mix of plotter and pantser and usually have a rough idea where I want the story to go but end up writing the beginning three or four times until the characters become clear and I know where they want to go.

Most - The email saying a publisher wants to contract it!

Give us a peek into your latest published work?

My latest story is released today by The Wild Rose Press, yay!! Here's the blurb for "Coming Back"

Kelly Hampton loved once...and lost. After two years of looking for Sean McKenzie in other men--and failing miserably--she takes a vow of celibacy. No sex until she finds love. Then Sean strolls back into her bar, reigniting old flames. No one has come close to understanding or satisfying her like he did. Her body burns for the passion they once shared, but her heart still remembers the pain.

Sean escaped Jessop Hill and his father's fists in the middle of the night without a word--even to his love, Kelly--to protect his battered mother, but he never forgot the explosively erotic relationship he left behind. Now his father is dead and Sean is back for the only woman he's ever wanted. Their reunion is full of fire – but can sexual attraction and noble intentions overcome years of heartache or will Kelly walk away to protect her heart this time.

What’s next on the writing horizon for you?

I have just started my third novella, tentatively called "Greek Gratification" - it has a British hero and heroine but set in the Greek island of Zante where I holidayed a few years ago. This one is all about new beginnings and letting go of the past before you can find something new…oh, and with some hot discovery in between too! ; )

Is there anything you want to tell readers?

I'd like readers to know that every Tuesday & Thursday I have guest erotic romance author either blogging or being interviewed on my blog and we'd love to see you there! Here's the links where you can find my blog & me…

Here's an excerpt for Rachel's new release:

The stranger…all the massive height and width of him kept walking ever closer without as much as a blip to his stride. Kelly stared and when his gaze met hers, recognition hit her between the eyes like a demolition ball. Her breath caught and her heart picked up speed. No. No, it couldn’t be. Swallowing hard, she lifted her chin and crossed her arms to hide the shaking in her hands. He looked away from her, casually taking in his surroundings as he continued to approach the bar. No, she was wrong, it couldn’t be him.

This was a potentially dangerous situation. She was alone, and the guy was built like a Trojan warrior. Instinctively, she inched her hand below the bar and curled her fingers around one of the three aluminum baseball bats dotted beneath it at four feet spaces. Any funny stuff and this arrogant son of bitch wouldn’t know what hit him.

He reached the bar, shook the rain from his dark blonde hair, spattering the polished wood of the bar and looked straight into Kelly’s eyes.

Oh, shit. It was him. Her heart turned over. “Sean?” she croaked.

His smile was slow, sexy and completely irresistible – and Kelly promptly trembled with the effort it took not to leap over the bar and slam his face between her breasts.

Thank you for joining us today, Rachel.
