This week's theme: Some Sexy Action

I decided to do 7 sentences this week.  This is from my book Melt My Heart.  Gabriel (my hero) finally gets Lexi (heroine) into his bed. 

     “Raise your arms.” She did, and he whisked the t-shirt off, leaving her standing in a pair of boxer shorts.

     Her nipples hardened, and his eyes darkened with desire. “Beautiful,” he whispered, kissing his way between the valley of her breasts, to the top of her stomach. His fingers slid beneath the elastic of the shorts.

     Her hands tangled in his hair as he lowered the shorts, letting them fall to the floor. Kneeling down, he dropped a kiss at the top of her mound.

This week's theme: My Sexy Valentine.

I chose 7 sentences from my book Melt My Heart, the actual scene was changed a bit but this is how I originally had it.  Melt My Heart is part of the Candy Heart Series from The Wild Rose Press.

            She saw the box of candy hearts sitting where her plate should be.

            “Those are for after breakfast.” He angled his chair close to his. “Valentine’s Day is a couple of weeks away, but I saw those and thought we might have fun with them.”

            Lexi picked up the box, "Erotic candy hearts?"

            “Yes, we’ll try several of them out starting with this one." He dropped a heart in her hand that said: Eat Me.

A Sexy Encounter - My Sexy Saturday by Marie Tuhart

Welcome to another week of My Sexy Saturday.

This weeks theme is: A Sexy Encounter

I decided to do 7 sentences from my current release Melt My Heart.  This a short story about Lexi and Gabriel.  Lexi is learning how to give up control, and Gabriel finds himself wanting more than just the stated contract time together.  Can this Dom and sub find the right balance to stay together?

            All thoughts fled as his fingers tunneled beneath the fabric of the t-shirt she wore and began inching it up. Her hands gripped his shoulders.

            Rough palms skimmed up her stomach, pushing the fabric higher. “Raise your arms.” She did, and he whisked the t-shirt off, leaving her standing in a pair of boxer shorts.

            Her nipples hardened, and his eyes darkened with desire. “Beautiful,” he whispered, kissing his way between the valley of her breasts, to the top of her stomach.

Another book turned in

I've been staying very busy on the writing front, I just turned in Melt My Heart - which I hope it will be part of the Candy Hearts series by The Wild Rose Press.

This was a fun book to write, I really enjoyed Lexi's sensual journey, and Gabriel's need to help her understand giving up her control wasn't such a bad idea.

I'll announce more when I have news.  In the mean time, I have a revise and resubmit from my editor on two more books she was reading.  It's not a bad thing, she wants me to to lengthen one book and add a bit more BDSM to the other.  All doable, now to just find the time.

And I've been outlining my newest book, which I hope to be part of the Real Men Wear Kilts series coming out from The Wild Rose Press next year.  It is only in the Scarlet line, so you can be assured there will be lots of kink going on.

I hope everyone is having a fabulous summer.  Even if it is a bit to warm here in Western Washington.
